Hello everyone,

FC Buxton are a group of Buxton FC supporters / forum members who meet up every week for a 'kickabout' on astro-turf at a nearby leisure centre.

Nothing too serious to be honest, more a sociable event - we have players of all ages and abilities and women are welcome to join in too!

I wonder if there are any other supporters of UniBond League Clubs with similar groups/teams who might fancy a 'friendly' against us?

Teams of up to 9 players are ideal for the facilities that we use but we can get a full size pitch for 11 a-side games. The basic idea is that we have a bit of a game - nothing too serious / competitive - and then a few pints / bite to eat afterwards, thus giving us the chance to build a rapport with supporters of other clubs in the league.

We usually play mid-week but can arrange things for a weekend and would reciprocate the favour by playing a return match at a venue of your choice.
