Unhappy Frickley 2 Kendal 1

Well...I made my longest journey ever as a Kendal fan..to see us get what we deserved...nowt! A hard bumpy pitch didn't help us & nor did Paul Byrne stupidly getting himself sent off after 35mins & then man handling the ref into the bargain. Disgraceful. I hope the club will be fining him. That said, we did concede the last goal in 89th minute & Dino put in another good performance in defence.
Mathematically, we can still end up in 19th spot BUT, good news is that we will be safe as Ashford (Middx) in the Ryman will only be able to muster 46pts. So, we can look forward to Premier football next season. well done Ashy..but let's do something about the lack of discipline on the pitch.

I didn't go down to Frickley, but i was surprised we lost, I know Ashy may disagree here, but the main thing is we are safe now and can start planning for next seasons campaign.

Last game against Hednesford to look forward too, ill be thereee

Unfortunately couldn't make it yesterday due to international duty (visitors from Holland and Spain) at home. However, I hope we get another large crowd next week to sign off this season and to look forward to the next one. With this squad the club can go places. It would be superb to see a decent cup run in either the FA Cup or the Trophy.

Paul Byrne's sending off was pathetic. His first yellow card wasn't even a foul when he asked the ref what he'd done wrong....the ref couldn't answer him and then booked him for dissent !!His second yellow card was just as harsh as he hardly made any contact with the player, who dropped to the ground as though he had been shot.

The only disgrace on the pitch was the referee, and his assistants were piss poor too.

Kendal Town deserved at least a point from yesterday's game....and Frickley's manager told me so.

is it me or have the referees been involved in Kendal Town a bit 2 much recently?

We had last weekend against North ferriby when Ashy was given all kinds of aggro from the North ferriby Players, and the ref gave nothing.

And from what I hear from the Frickley match, the ref was poor again.

I actually saw all the goals from that match on you tube of all places.

The Frickley ground looks rough as anything, all i could see was a stand and like some field and a road or something.

The officiating recently has hit a new low ...Frickley's ground is not the most attractive one we have visited
