Default How many levels are there?

I am probably being a bit ambitious, infact probably very ambitious, but what if Kendal got promoted Next season? how many leagues away are we from the conference? how many leagues away are we from league football? and is our ground of sufficient standard for that?

Maybe im being verry ambitious but you gotta be aint you.

If we were to be promoted next season we would be in Conference North. Which is one below the Conference and two below the Football league. I'm not entirely sure, but I doubt if our ground in its current state would be good enough even for the step to Conference North.

If you want to have a look at what it might have to be done check this out:

Quite right mate

We are one division from Conerence North, and two divisions from The Conference....thus three divisions from The Football League...and NO our ground would not meet that status at present....but you never know what is around the corner

If Kendal Town got promoted they would go into the Conference North. After that you have the Conference then League II, League I, the Championship and the Premiership. So, unless they get relgated, it will be at least 6 years until we play Wigan again. As for the ground, I doubt it would meet more than Conference North standards at the moment.

Talking of ground standards, just wondered what the likelihood is at the moment of any improvements. Having gone down to Radcliffe the other week and stood on the smallish stand behind the goal, would it be possible to have something like that at the far end from Parkside Road. It was only about two times the width of the goal, had about 7 or 8 steps and was uncovered. I appreciate that there is more to these things than just wanting to have them, ie money and permission, but it would open up the ground to spectators more as (in my view) it is not always best to watch a game from pitch level but I prefer to stand behind the goal into which my own team is kicking. There are rarely any spectators at that end and I am sure it is because of the (lack of) facilities.

There was some talk before Christmas about ground improvements. Are these still in the pipeline?

Got a hammering at today's ground grading They are pathetic in their approach. 1 rule for one ground and another rule for us

It's really annoying !!

Not happy about new turnstile, our 4th one. Lincoln still only have two They want some areas concreting or flagging. The gaop by the boardroom isn't wide enough And a few other niggly things
