Default no north south split

From Arngrove Northern League News Item

Durham City have notified the Northern League that they will not be seeking promotion to the Northern Premier First Division North in the summer.

After a period of uncertainty the club has met and given a decision that they will stay with the Northern League.

League Chairman Mike Amos said "I fully understand their predicament, and the League welcomes their decision".

chances are Newcastle blue star will also pull out so leaving just 1 first div league next season, this will cause the FA and the Uni(can't make a decision)bond a lot egg on face

I hope not.But as you said 'where are they gonna come from?' you never know it might just be a smaller league.

if the league is to be smaller then ok, maybe we can get the extra games from reaching the finals of the trophy and FA cup hey congrats to Rory on winning the "young player of the year" : even though i've got a feeling it wont be too long before someone snaps him up!!!!! lets hope we've got him for a few seasons more.

Oh yes congratulations Rory. Was it the non-league paper one?I know he was nominated in that and I voted for him.As for him being snapped up,I dont know but the lad seems loyal.Mid way through our first season he said no to Grimsby when he went on loan/trial there. So hopefully he stays loyal to the cause.

I think Newcastle Blue Star will now come up as they have moved grounds for next season. This mean they will have no problems with ground grading.

My earlier post about them dropping out was based only on my opinion.

I think Garforth will be asked to replace Durham in the league, Garforth have a very interesting owner who, from what I am led to believe, likes to threaten legal action against internet forums which post anything negative about him or his team.

don't sue me SC it's only what I have read on internet forums
